If I had help instead of being hindered every step of the way, it would be possible to end the chronic disease crisis within a few years. I won't say more than that, for previously stated reasons.
The FDA nor the research system will change, so its still up to the similar-minded individuals who see the potential of FMT to help those who want the help. For now, you can’t help those who think they don’t need FMT. So it is expected you will not have major support.

But if I am being completely honest with you, it seems like you are punishing the few people like me for the actions of people who aren’t as open-minded as you and I.

I still remember my first post, and all you could say is that I am responsible for this extremely complex problem just because I acknowledged the massive obstacles I have to spread the word in my country.

Hell, I can’t even get to do it in my own household, my parents don’t even want to consider FMT because I am not “bad enough”, we don’t know a viable donor and it seems exaggerated. And as you could guess, I am dependent on them economically. I have lost friends because they think I am insane for my views, which ARE informed. Even you have to admit I am more informed than many on this simply because I have read this forum and it’s wiki.

Do you need others to completely devote their life to the cause and lose the approval of their friends and family for you to take their commitment to making FMT available seriously? Because it seems like that.

You often use the argument that you managed to operate a FMT company alone as a disabled person to invalidate the systemic barriers that most people have to implement FMT policy for multiple illnesses.

And you have accomplished a lot in the operative side, there is no argument against that. But your biggest obstacle right now is not about what an individual can accomplish anymore, but fighting a literal abstract but real concept: ignorance and greed/power/control from the elite.

I often feel you don’t truly understand how many things outside of the scope of advocacy need to change for institutions and researchers to actually take FMT seriously. You said before “never attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence”, but everything that has happened actively says that it is malice and greed. The last IBS trial should tell you that already. And the masses won’t listen to the people like us who are seen as fringe maniacs.

You might think that I am misinterpreting what you are asking of others, but that isn’t the case. We are so few and so many have so many different circumstances, that we can’t afford to abandon so many things like you did with no damn leverage on institutions.

And it is not fair that you had to abandon your life either. It wasn’t anybody’s fault that you got CFS (other than possibly your parents, but Idk).

But now that you are rebuilding your health, you want to deny the ability to do the same to the few who are willing to listen to you, because of the many who can’t or won’t.

So, in my opinion, you should give access to your donors to those who are willing to listen to you in this forum.

——-

But if that isn’t something you agree with at all, what will you actually let us help you with, that is actually feasible?

I don’t have contacts in the FDA, I don’t know the researchers from the last trial. I am not a microbiologist and I have as much leverage as you do on research and policy: 0. Because I am an architecture student, not a microbiologist. And any doctor I open my mouth with already dismisses me.

I already did all the other recommendations you outlined on that thread. I tell people about FMT and try my best to get new members in this forum every single day, in Reddit and irl.

And if what is more feasible is money, I can’t even give you some until I start working, and that is only if I don’t deteriorate more (and if my country doesn’t crumble, today we had an the most powerful earthquake in our history and we are lucky it wasn’t enough to break the capital). But only time will tell.

I may be rambling, but what I am trying to say is, that I am open to help you, and if you need reassurance that I don’t want to fuck you over or hinder you like people in the past, then all you need to remember is that I am an intelligent patient like you, who has his life at stake too.

Some of what you said is not accurate, and you know better.

So, in my opinion, you should give access to your donors to those who are willing to listen to you in this forum.
No one gets access until it becomes legal or they have millions of dollars https://www.humanmicrobes.org/blog/is-a-million-dollars-enough-for-your-poop.

Being willing to listen to me is not doing me a favor. The extensive knowledge I freely shared is a favor. So you owe me for the knowledge, and you would owe me for the donor.

what will you actually let us help you with
That's rich. I haven't prevented anyone from helping. It's completely up to you. I did my part. The ball's in your court now. If you're too limited on your own, and other people won't help you, that's their fault, not mine. Take it up with them.

Some of what you said is not accurate, and you know better.
Yeah. I see now. Apparently, I never read the million dollar stool blog. Now I understand your real current stance.

To be honest, and you can tell, I am just frustrated at the entire situation and I needed to vent it out. Even if it wasn’t logical or mature.

I know that most things that led to this aren’t your fault.

But, the thought of knowing that you are gatekeeping donors because everything that has happened before I even knew about FMT, and that my only way to access them is to have insane amounts of money or change institutions (that not even people with more power and money than me can, whether due to human conflict or an actual united cabal wanting to make everyone miserable) boils my blood.

Anyhow, I may lack some maturity, but I have enough of it to understand that antagonizing you is not going to make it more likely for me or anybody else to get FMT from you.

So let me understand right now. You say you haven’t prevented anyone from helping. Yet, you have been clear that no one is really useful to HM unless they are a high-quality donor, an investor worth millions of dollars or they can make FMT legal in the US.

But again, if we don’t have the ability to provide any of these things, but have the desire to help more hands on, is there really nothing we can do?

So, if I offer you my time and service for free to say, promote HM in social media, that is not useful at all anymore because of the legality issues?

Or if I double my efforts to track down eligible candidates for HM, doubling the manpower. I don’t know. I may have a contact that can help arrange meetings with Olympic athletes directly in my country, but I haven’t tried it yet because of the feedback I have had from my circle. And we are not intimate friends.

P.S. maybe you should try sharing the million dollar stool blog too when inviting people from Reddit instead of just the FDA one.

Stop making statements that you know are false.

This is the situation. It's up to you. It's that simple.

P.S. maybe you should try sharing the million dollar stool blog too when inviting people from Reddit instead of just the FDA one.
The FDA summary was written deliberately to condense and summarize a huge amount of information. It references everything else people should read. There are no intelligent people left on reddit.

Stop making statements that you know are false.
Just feels like this, not saying it’s the objective truth. That’s why I said it isn’t your fault before. Again, apologies for my frustration.
There are no intelligent people left on reddit.
Why do you keep modding r/HumanMicrobiome in this case?

If the idea is to recruit as many people as possible to mail the FDA, why discriminate on the assumption that every social media user is useless?

I thought you had suspended all operations due to legal concerns from the FDA, but the million dollar blog makes it sound like it's still up and running but only for multimillionaires. What's the current status of HumanMicrobes?

I was considering making a thread for discussing some workarounds to not get bothered by the FDA, but maybe you've already sorted that out?

Feel free. The status is that unless other people want to start putting in significant effort to solve the situation, I'm not going to bother with anyone who's not offering large amounts of money. All problems can be solved with enough money, and most other options aren't worth the effort for me.

So it really depends on what the proposal is. Keep in mind that I was making minimum wage with HMorg, while putting in a ton of time & effort. If the proposal is for me to go back to doing that, or worse, the answer is no.

Also keep in mind that international dry ice shipping is difficult and expensive, and the shipping companies don't want to bother with you unless you're shipping frequently.

A while back you were talking about wanting to get clinical trials of your donors vs. other donors. Though presumably given the fact that you aren't a doctor, you were talking about having other people do the trials, but that doesn't mean funding is unnecessary, rather it means that you'd be requesting funding and labor rather than just funding.

There's nothing inherently wrong with that if you have a good idea and can justify it, but the high expense of clinical research means that whatever agency would take this on would have to devote a considerable amount of resources to this. You seem to acknowledge this yourself when you speak of people giving you a million dollars.

2. Why should I? What benefit is there for me in doing that?

Getting your ideas on a more solid footing where you have more leverage to ask for favors from others to help you in your quest (to cure the world through gut microbes). You seem to imagine that people will beat a path to your door to give you large sums of money for your knowledge. However, you need to make a plausible case for having knowledge that is worth this kind of investment. In other words, make a case that investment will be returned with something (cures, scientific knowledge gained, etc.).

A. If you had public data showing an improving trend for your donor results over time, this would support the idea that you have learned meaningful info during the process of being involved with FMT and that given enough resources you might find a cure. However, to my knowledge you don't have this. If anything, when you add your own personal data (pre-HM), it seems as though success rate might have declined over time.
B. Even not having A., you could counter that by arguing that stool consistency and/or color are important variables and that they declined over time as well, explaining why results stagnated despite you learning valuable insights. However, you would actually need organized data (graphs, tables, etc.) of stool type vs. results, as well as a way for others, given actual stool pictures from the donors that you would provide, to verify for themselves the decline in stool type.
C. Barring A. and B., you could claim that you identified a new important variable or a new source of high-quality donors only after HM shut down, that then enabled your results to start improving again. However, you'd need to explain what this new variable or source was and what you did to find it. Disclosing this variable might allow someone to "scoop" your idea, BUT at the same time having it publicly acknowledged as coming from you also means you could argue successfully for credit if it were. You might also need to show some evidence that the new donors were more effective (such as test results from your own doctor showing evidence of a cure), given that there is no recipient data for the new donors.
D. In fact, that last bit (test results from your doctor showing a cure) might be the only way you can make this at all convincing without any of the other data.

But as it is, it seems you are trying to argue that you have learned how to solve the donor quality problem when:
--your recipient data didn't show an improvement over time, which you attempt to explain by
--a stool quality score that only you can calculate in your own head
--and that you don't even have recorded alongside the public results data for others to view
and now you are arguing that your donors HAVE drastically improved
--yet you don't have any public data showing this
--when you were effectively "crying wolf" by claiming you had solved donor quality even back when the success rates from your donors were NOT steadily increasing.

This is WAY too many holes, even if someone from the FDA or a major medical school agreed to devote his or her personal time for free to listen to you present why your idea is a breakthrough. And this is all on top of the hurdle you have to jump over due to not being a medical professional.

Note that I am NOT saying that your FMT product didn't help people, and I agree that you almost certainly learned some valuable information about how to do and not do FMT through the course of treating yourself and getting feedback from other recipients. However, what I don't see is the organization of data into a form that allows you to show this. Without this, you don't have the "leverage" to get others to invest in this project.

A while back you were talking about ...
The situation has drastically changed. There is a lot you're not privy to. People declined to help, and thus they won't have access to a cure. My goals have changed. And even if this wasn't the case, your assessment is erroneous.

Well, good job to you for having found a multi-millionaire investor or whatever good news is happening behind the scenes, since that is what you are referring to “there is a lot you are not privy to”.

Personally, I am saddened to have found out about FMT now that all of these controversies have happened and that you have lost complete faith in humanity. But you have made it clear that whatever I think about, it doesn’t matter.

Regardless, I hope you can get the cure you have chased for your entire life. And when you do, hopefully you can rest from all the suffering you have gone through for 40 years and live your life.

I wrote a post but it had some AI quotes in it and got blocked and I don't have time to go through it all again so I'll just make a short summary:

  • I thought some of the loopholes that work in the EU could work but it seems like the FDA and US regulations are way stricter and blocks the workarounds that are possible in the EU.

  • In august 2027 the EU will mandate all member states to classify FMT as tissue and not a drug, this might open things up in Europe and potentially pressure the FDA to change its stance.

  • It's possible to do a citizen petition that legally forces the FDA to re-evaluate its classification, but there are ways for them to delay and deny. Maybe timing it together with the EU change next year could give it some more weight. Not sure if you've already looked into it, I can't really help with that though because I'm European and not a US citizen.

My goals have changed.
What are your goals now?

I second wanting to know what the goals are now. I have been operating the whole time under the assumption that what we're all trying to do is first to identify characteristics of effective donors through experimentation and then to make treatments from those donors available to patients.

Well, good job to you for having found a multi-millionaire investor or whatever good news is happening behind the scenes, since that is what you are referring to “there is a lot you are not privy to”.

I had read that statement in a considerably less favorable sense than you did. The things we "are not privy to" could be a lot of different things, may of which wouldn't be at all fortunate. The way I saw it, there are at least three possibilities:

**************

Possibility 1) Michael has indeed found donors that are near to a cure for most patients, and with help from a collaborator(s) has obtained decently solid proof of this. Furthermore, he is only delaying disclosing how he accomplished this while he brainstorms ways of setting up a service to get transplants from these donors to patients, and one this issue on the business side is solved, he will share his data on these new donors so that we know what insight led to the breakthrough and have good evidence of their quality.

This is the most favorable reading, but unfortunately given the history of developments at HM and the tone of previous communications I consider this the least likely possibility.

Possibility 2) He has indeed found donors that are near to a cure for most patients, and with help from a collaborator has obtained decently solid proof of this, as above. However, he intends to keep the insight that led to this breakthrough secret forever, and intends to market the FMTs from these donors as a premium product to wealthy recipients.

Depending on how much of the data verifying the effectiveness of these donors he provides to his customers, this could be ethically quite dicey--how are they supposed to know what they are buying? Also, to the extent that feedback from people on this forum, provided for free, on results with HM donors and donors from other providers contributed to the breakthrough, that would also raise ethical questions. The same is true if he "stole" any methods from other sources like Gezonde Darmflora, Openbiome, or anyone else to achieve this jump in efficacy without giving them due credit.

Possibility 3) He in fact has no solid evidence that any current donors are superior to the ones that HM had while it was operating, and this is why he hasn't provided anything backing that up. In this case, if large amounts of other people's money are currently involved, or GET involved in the future, this could get Michael into serious "hot water" at some point in the future if they were acting on false information and/or were in any way misled as to where their money was going, much deeper trouble than he was in for merely selling an unapproved product and then shutting down after receiving a notice of legal action from the FDA. Also if potential patients were strung along, this could be seriously unethical.

Back when HM was operating, it was of little real consequence what Michael or anyone else thought or claimed about the effectiveness or quality of HM. Everyone could see the customer feedback on his donors, knew what the prices were for capsules or enema, and could choose for themselves whether to buy. Once people start investing in the future of a business (and that's what someone giving a million or more dollars to this venture would be--an investment--whether you call it that or not), it becomes a completely different animal.

Note that none of this implies that Michael would be intentionally outright lying about where his progress stands or where he is headed. He may truly believe wholeheartedly that he has "solved" FMT and that a universal cure is less than a year out if someone donates a million dollars toward getting there. But the more he withholds key information that would allow people getting involved to know what's real or not, the more opportunity there is for things to go legally and ethically south.

*******

Anyway, obviously these three possibilities are speculation because Michael has provided so little information about what is really going on. All he needs to do in order to dispel doubt is to clarify his goals and where he is headed. I just saw major red flags when I read that last post from him.

On my time here, I have found that someone’s silence speaks more than a thousand words.

Anyhow, he already said pretty clearly his current goals are to screen and use donors for himself and multi-millionaires discreetly for as long as FMT (for conditions other than C. Diff.) keeps being illegal in the US, as he has already said regular people failed him both in the financial and legal support issues HM has.

After that, if FMT does become properly regulated and he has enough money and power to restart operations publicly, it is not known (if not extremely unlikely) if he will ever cater to regular people again.

Exactly. The fact that he doesn't even see fit to address serious concerns others have about the ethics of his business (despite being extremely harsh on OTHER businesses) speaks volumes about where his priorities are.

If someone actually solved the problem of who has the healthiest microbiome, I would put that up there with the invention of the COVID vaccines, cancer immunotherapy, and GLP-1 drugs (quite possibly above the latter, given their uncertain long-term side effects) in terms of medical advances of our lifetime with largest impact.

However, the credit for this will go to whoever shows that he or she has solved this, not to someone who just claims it without proof, and without even a clearly articulated hypothesis that can be checked for correctness at a later time. If Michael cares more about making money off of sick patients than actually looking over his data and trying to put together and argue a case publicly that he has succeeded or is even on the right track, he will just have to deal with the consequences, which may be forfeiture of a chance at recognition even if and when he DOES make major strides (and the funding opportunities that may well come from such).

This is laughable; just like your previous post, where you fabricated an absurd hypothetical in which I "stole" public information from a crook in order to boost the results of my donors. I have no obligation to respond to such pathetic absurdities.

@SFBayFMT5 Why would he care about trying to vindicate himself to the public again? He tried already to tell everyone he found a panacea, but got ignored because of his lack of social credit, the rejection of the average public and the corruption of the government, corporations and academia.

I don’t think you get what he has said already but I will engage with you:

It is not strange to assume that he already has found multi-millionaire investors and funding for his operations that he just isn’t announcing to the world.

I mean, he talks a lot about how many people have ignored him, but he likewise has repeatedly stated how many others in the medical and research fields have been interested in HM donors and in his approach as well, including some Hadza researchers. Not only that, but he has been advocating online for 10+ years and he probably got some big names during his ≈11 month stay in DC.

Do you really think he probably hasn’t gotten the phone number of some wealthy potential clients at this point? Or that he probably hasn’t made business with them already?

He just doesn’t announce it to the world because wealthy clients are more secretive than your regular person. He probably even is on an NDA lol.

———

Regardless, Michael is right in that he did everyone a favor by giving people an organized resource like this forum and the wiki that explain the way his method works. Without this or other knowledge, a layperson like me would be more likely to risk FMT to the nearest available source.

I don’t expect Michael to be God and have infinite forgiveness and mercy after all his negative experiences with average people, specially in his ill state where being inconvenienced hits 10 times harder than an able-bodied person.

But who knows? If there is a future where everything wrong with FMT right now gets corrected and Michael is healed and alive, you can be sure that he wouldn’t miss out on being an active participant and reconsider his stance.

But until then, our health is in OUR hands, not Michael’s or anyone’s.

There is so much to say here, that's why I haven't replied yet because I've been thinking how to say it without it getting too incredibly long.

Sorry to break it to you if you haven't noticed already, but pretty much everywhere except from on this forum, HM is practically a non-entity. If it's ever even brought up, most of the time it's because Michael himself brings it up, and most of the rest of the time it's in a negative light, not because people have gotten horribly sick from HM FMTs, but because of how overhyped they see it as being relative to what it has actually delivered (see below).

Why in the world would researchers studying the Hadza care about HM? To my knowledge Michael has no connections among the Hadza, and if they want to have people on a Westernized diet as a control group, they can just pay some college undergrads $40 to give them a stool and not have to deal with shipping and be able to control all the variables they want at their own lab. They would have no reason to pay HM to send them a sample from someone likely living in another state. Just think about it for a moment. The only place I've ever seen the Hadza and HM mentioned together is that Michael knew a different recipient, who was never himself affiliated with HM, who used one or more Hadza donors, and if I remember correctly he (unsurprisingly) got worse from those donors due to the pathogens they carry that Western immune systems aren't used to.

So yes, I can totally believe that he wouldn't have found multi-millionaire investors. Michael has some interesting hypotheses, but he screened over a million potential donors without the track record of his customer results, or even his own results, actually showing any visible increase.

I am very familiar with how applying for scientific funding works, I've helped principal investigators in labs prepare data for grant applications before. Each time you apply, you have to lay out what new experiments you have done since the previous time you applied, and what concrete progress you have made toward the goal, with data (charts, graphs) to back it up. Many investigators pore over their data for many long nights each time funding renewal comes around to figure out how to not give the reviewers any hint of a reason to question whether the data really support the hypothesis. Yet Michael seemed to act as though it should be plainly obvious that his donors are the best in the world.

Nowhere that I'm aware of can you propose even an excellent-sounding idea, then do a thousand of pretty much the same experiment with the outcome being largely the same, and then say "but my idea is good dammit, so give me funding for a hundred more experiments, I promise you we'll have results then". They expect to see cycles of the info gleaned from earlier experiments driving changes in later experiments that have a measurable impact on the outcome. That's why I proposed that Michael do exactly this--find a way to arrange HM's results so they show some sort of progression.

Do you really think he probably hasn’t gotten the phone number of some wealthy potential clients at this point? Or that he probably hasn’t made business with them already?

He just doesn’t announce it to the world because wealthy clients are more secretive than your regular person. He probably even is on an NDA lol.

Now THAT I can imagine. You can pretty much always find desperately sick people who will pay large sums of money to work with someone who promises them a cure. In my time I've seen my share of alternative doctors who charge patients an arm and a leg for treatments that end up not actually helping them, some even have been hurt and ended up in the hospital almost dying, yet those patients go back to these "doctors" for more treatment and even defend them legally when they are hit with malpractice lawsuits (for performing treatments that almost kill their patients), they are so convinced that those practitioners have the answer.

If Michael wants to stand apart from these quacks, he has to make a real effort to cross his T's and dot his I's in presenting his data.

Yes Michael put in a tremendous amount of work, and the FDA in many ways showed poor scientific sportsmanship (sciencemanship? intellectualship?) by, rather than proving him wrong, just pointing to an arbitrary rule in a book to tell him he shouldn't be working towards what he was trying to do. However, even if he'd been thrown in jail for his supposed "medical sins", that suffering wouldn't mean that somehow he was proven right and absolve him of responsibility to consider his actual results if he wants people to invest in his project.

At the VERY end of HM, there were only two glimmers of improvement I saw. One was a donor who cured his depression with a brand new and young donor, yet he had to be very careful in how to take the capsules to not cause new symptoms. In my experience when a FMT really works, it isn't like this.

And then there was this experience of Michael's from December 2025:
https://forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/humanmicrobes-org-donor-or_jo_1993-treating-cfs-ibs-and-more-benefits.176/.
He says:
This is a great donor. They should be very safe, and would likely be highly beneficial for many people, but overall, they were only mildly beneficial for me...

I know that more effective donors exist, and I'll keep looking for them, but even if I can find someone who perfectly meets the ideal criteria, and they turn out to be highly effective, I think that they're so rare that they can't be depended upon.
Keep in mind, Michael already had his full approach laid out, including knowing about stool type being a factor, in his roadmap all the way back in 2019! And in December of 2025 he was still saying the above. Is it any wonder that people weren't too willing to invest in a remote possibility that probably wouldn't materialize?

When Openbiome realized that they weren't having the uniform success they had hoped for, they shut down FMTs and went from treating patients to doing research. They effectively decided that treating patients had been premature, which was a shame for the patients like myself who were helped drastically by them, but they considered their efforts were better placed elsewhere.

In the experience report I quoted from above, Michael mentioned the possibility that biofilm clearance was necessary for FMT to actually be a cure for most patients. He could have decided at that point to completely stop pushing his donors, test several different methods of biofilm disruption using the donors he already had, and publish the results on here, which could have helped guide us to try the best one(s) with whatever donors we had access to, such as those from Gezonde Darmflora, Purety clinic, etc. We could have helped him refine the protocol with our own experiments. Then if after doing this some of us still thought they needed HM donors specifically, they could have helped him get his business back together. This would have completely gotten the FDA off his back, unless he tried selling unapproved anti-biofilm drugs to us, and could have actually helped some of us, but it would have meant that he couldn't have made any money off of FMT for the time being.

If that were the choice he would have made, I would have nothing but respect for him. But that was NOT what he did, he decided that instead he'd focus on the lack of monetary support for his donor program, that we had no role in shutting down, and use that as an excuse to stop working to help this community. When a lot of people's unwillingness to help I'm sure came from the lackluster results everyone (including Michael) was getting. I know that I could have gotten some family members to chip in a substantial amount of money to help me pay for treatments from Michael if the data were actually there that it was a good investment. But they have seen too many people promising cures and not delivering (as have I).

This last paragraph contains flat-out lies. Not too sure what to do about that. Open discourse is important, but someone purposely posting lies and disinformation should be moderated. Especially someone who's been warned for it numerous times.

Why in the world would researchers studying the Hadza care about HM?
Jeff Leach? He did FMT from them. Hell, might have been an HM client, but that is speculation.
So yes, I can totally believe that he wouldn't have found multi-millionaire investors. Michael has some interesting hypotheses, but he screened over a million potential donors without the track record of his customer results, or even his own results, actually showing any visible increase.
Did you see the spreadsheet or do you have bad memory?
Yet Michael seemed to act as though it should be plainly obvious that his donors are the best in the world.
On his defense, he never actually tried applying for funding for a trial/scientifc study during HM’s operations because he is a layperson, not a researcher. His intent was to offer his donors to proper researchers. But no one so far has taken his offer because they are uninformed.

So he can’t. And it’s not part of his goals anymore.

When I say funding, I mean his personal operations, not for a study or anything public. Which is what you later did see as possible, but you are stuck on the “funding for a study” part, which I never implied.

All this data talk is pretty pointless because Michael never attempted to get that as he knows he is not a researcher. The results spreadsheet and his experiences were an attempt to inspire researchers and to be as transparent a business could be, but not an active effort to get scientific study funding.
Thats because again, Michael has tried as far as he could to be his own guinea pig to inspire researchers and other recipients to explore FMT and boosting approaches, but he is at an stage where he is scared of personally trying Step 3 because his whole issues started when trying to kill his microbiome, so he is not really wanting to try biofilm disruption personally. And nobody else outside of Asclepius has given anecdotal support, so Michael suggests knowledge is stuck in Step 3.
Its obvious you put Openbiome on a pedestal because you were lucky you got a donor match. Michael and others disagree about donor matching being as important as quality but they are entitled to their opinion and I am to mine.
I addressed it about Michael personally trying it before but I will address the part of HM recipients doing it: most HM clients were probably not fans of being guinea pigs and risking their bad health for potential treatment approach additional to what they were specifically looking for, which was FMT. Specially from a guy that is a businness, not a researcher.

Likewise, Michael probably didn’t want to force people into trying something outside of FMT because biofilms research for FMT was not there and he had not personally tried it.

So, this type of thing could only be done in a trial. Which we already defined is something Michael can’t do on his own.
