Hi everyone,
I’ve been dealing with long-term digestive issues, including bloating, diarrhea, and food intolerances that have gradually worsened over the years. At this point, the only foods I can reliably tolerate are eggs, meat, fish, potatoes, and rice, while most other foods trigger symptoms. I’m currently looking into FMT (fecal microbiota transplantation) as a possible solution. Before committing to such a procedure, I want to make sure I do the right steps to confirm whether it’s likely to help in my specific case.
For those who have gone through FMT or have experience in this field:
Thanks in advance for your insights!

For those who have gone through FMT or have experience in this field:
- What tests, evaluations, or consultations would you recommend doing first?
- Are there specific markers or conditions that clearly indicate FMT might be effective?
- Any red flags or situations where FMT is not worth pursuing?
Thanks in advance for your insights!
