I wanted to share a new company I just launched in the Microbiome and Personalized Fecal Transplantation space.

My name is Kyle Cetrulo and I am the Founder and CEO of MyGutly, the world’s first personalized fecal transplantation company. https://mygutly.com/

The concept powering MyGutly is that during a time of optimal health the composition of the gut microbiome is collected via a stool sample and is processed and stored in capsules. The capsules are readily available for future use to restore the gut microbiome of that individual to the state at which it was collected.

There are numerous ways to disturb your gut microbiome such as from a round of antibiotics, chemotherapy or simply eating foods that don’t agree with your body. However, there are very few resources to restore your gut microbiome to a healthy state. Diet and probiotics alone take multiple months to restore your gut microbiome. In recent studies, personalized fecal transplantation has shown the ability to restore the gut microbiome to 75% of the collected composition in about a week. (1)

Although it doesn't seem to work right now (1), maybe it's worth trying to make a backup if it's cheap.

I'd like to see the collection procedure and how to minimise oxygen exposure. I'd expect it to be better to freeze it at home ASAP than benefit from freezing at a lower temperature with more time in the post for oxygen exposure. Then again, it only takes a moment of oxygen.

Perhaps particular foods could be eaten for a few days beforehand to improve the process?
