Having a history of c diff few years ago, then SiBo and finally IMO left me with a lot of food intlolerances. I decided to do FMT and ordered enema from Gezonde Darmflora.
Communication with Marco went smoothly.
Before the FMT i had formed stools 1 per day, only food intolerances bothered me.
I Did the FMT and the next day I started having burning pain in my rectum. Had 5 BM that day.
Also had nausea and headache. Thought it will pass and its just a reaction.
Unfortunately, condition started to deteriorate and in 10 days I developed diarrhea and burning pain in the rectum just keept geting worse. Now I am running from hospital to hospital to find out what is going on.
Marco claims no one had bad reactiin from this donor.
The lab isolated e coli in high numbers, and that is what the donor had in her reports in the period before the donation of FMT, and I was told everything from that period was destroyed, ans that the infection cleared up by itself and that I got FMT from period afrer, when that infection was clearse up.
So people be careful. Dont be fooled with someones explanations that labs are clear.
If anyone can help me and tell me what to do I would appreciate.

FMT Clinics
  1. I included all required info
Did you do enema or capsules or both?

  1. Consult with a doctor. If it's a life-threatening condition, they may be able to give you an antibiotic that could help.
  2. The only real solution is to use a better donor to negate the effects. I don't know of any that are available right now, which is why using questionable sources is an even greater risk than usual at the moment.

I might use my son as donor, but how can I know if he is a good donor? I can make all the tests for patogens.

If there is a patogen, would doing another FMT help eliminating it?

I wanted to delete the post, didnt find how.
I got diagnosed with parasite, confirmed by lab PCR methode, so at this time I am not sure it was the FMT that caused that.

I got diagnosed with bacteria, so at this time I am not sure it was the FMT that caused that.
Thread restored.

In general, it's much better to add information rather than remove it. So in this case you could simply update to say you were diagnosed with something and you're not sure it was the FMT that caused it.

FYI, "diagnosed with bacteria" is not a diagnosis. If there was something specific that showed up on a test you should say exactly what it was, along with the exact test that was done.

I used Gezonde Darmflora and had 100% success and no side effects. I believe he tests them regularly. If the donor had a bacterial infection like Nicol is talking to about, I'm guessing (don't know) that the FMT would have shown signs of that.. also, prepping in properly is key...did Nicol do a colonoscopy prep and fast? Too little information.

What donor did you choose?

And why you didnt give any report in here about your experience?

Maybe it is better to add info rather then remove it, but I just dont like the responce I got, saying I didnt make a good preparation or that because they had good experience, indicating that mine is not true. So I would rather have my right to delete the post and not restore it.

Don't worry so much about other people's comments. It's natural and good for there to be some debate and discussion, regardless of what outcomes people report. Allowing people to pressure you into keeping quiet is problematic.

In general, if you want to be able to pick safe and effective sources you need other people to share their detailed experiences so that you can understand which sources are safe and effective. So it's detrimental to yourself and everyone else for reports to be removed or not submitted.

I chose Donor DF3. I am pretty sure I wrote a report last year, but I cannot find it here - but I tsill have it written in a folder on my computer, so I just copied and pasted again.

I didnt say you didnt do a good preparation, I said we didnt have enough information to determine what happened and why you got sick. I was just concerned that you had posted a negative review without giving much information and that is really unfair as it could have been something that you ate that gave you an issue. That's all.
