About one-third of about 318,000 ingredients identified in beauty and personal care items do not have public toxicological profiles, while about 45 chemicals thought to be “high hazard” are commonly added

8,500 products checked by ChemForward, a non-profit that promotes transparency around beauty ingredients

The report will be used as the foundation for a new industry effort to fill information gaps around the chemicals it uses, remove dangerous substances from supply chains, and advocate for shifts to safer alternatives.

Part of the problem in addressing the issue is industry secrecy – many companies legally claim chemical profiles are confidential business information. The program will address that by assessing health risks but not by revealing a chemical’s formulation.

The rabbit-hole on PFAS and their effects on health and wellness is far beyond modern sciences expressed comprehension. Plain and simple the more data on how damaging PFAS are that’s out there, the more pressure is placed on the common narrative; the narrative of modern existence… and no large asset management firms, governments, or Fortune 500 companies want this. Additionally, science has become too bureaucratic and has shifted from the pursuit of objective truth to the peddling of an inconvenient truth.

It truly is an uphill battle….

I see a lot of buzz on here about how a decent donor is a 1 in a million. I’d say it’s even more than that. And that’s the result of our industrialized society. Go ahead and instantly rule out anyone that drinks city water, or anyone that lives within 1 hour from a major metropolitan city. The PFAS from the air and water have already destroyed their microbiome, even if they hit every other item on the required checklist.

Your perfect donor will be drinking water from a deep well (over 100ft), and will be living far enough from a city they aren’t inhaling PFAS with every breath.

They will be someone who eats locally, fasts regularly, detoxes regularly, exercises daily, is not exposed to Wi-Fi and cell phone radiation constantly, and doesn’t wear polyester clothing.

Truth be told within a few years, there might not be a human left that meets these criteria.

I do not mean to be disheartening, and I pray with all my heart projects like this at least lead us in the right direction.
