Blog The FDA and FMT regulation, part 2. (Jul 2024, HumanMicrobes.org) I met with the FDA. Here's what I shared with them, and their response.

Here is a list of federal and state legislators we should be contacting: 1. Senators and Representatives U.S. Senators: Each state has two senators who vote on national healthcare policies. You can find and contact them here. U.S. Representative: Your representative in the House focuses on...

I could address it to federal legislators or just the general public to raise awareness. Its truly mind boggling. Will do.

Blog The FDA and FMT regulation, part 2. (Jul 2024, HumanMicrobes.org) I met with the FDA. Here's what I shared with them, and their response.

What if we say something along these lines: “3. Support clinical trials using top donors: Federal funding and partnerships are necessary to conduct large-scale clinical trials that compare the safety and efficacy of high-quality donors—like those identified by Human Microbes—against the average...

Blog The FDA and FMT regulation, part 2. (Jul 2024, HumanMicrobes.org) I met with the FDA. Here's what I shared with them, and their response.

I’ve put together a petition to push the FDA for real change: reclassify FMT, allow stool shipments directly to doctors, and encourage clinical trials using the best donors we’ve identified. The goal is to get their attention and start moving toward proper regulation that works for patients, not...

Below I have listed people/organizations we can contact to help raise awareness. I encourage anyone reading this to reach out to as many of these people/organizations as possible providing your own personal experience with HM/FMT, the current dilemma HM is in, provide them with links to the blog...

Sources Is human microbes getting shut down?

I think it’s the more towards latter. I think this is good start. Horrible news that they won’t let this project continue as is. I would get a lawyer ASAP, one that has experience with the FDA. Maybe we can try starting a GoFundMe for lawyer fees?

Human Microbes My success with FL-RS-1997 from Human Microbes for treating insomnia depression and constipation

Overview Health started declining started after I took a two week course of Flagyl for tooth pain 10 years ago. My health declined more in a step wise fashion after taking other antibiotics. About two years ago I was in my worst state of health. I did FMT from FL-RS-1997 and my health went from...

Glad you had so much success! Just wondering, how are you not sure your success is from a more compatible donor rather than thawed vs. unthawed? Also did the results stick?

Blog The FDA and FMT regulation. (Mar 2024, HumanMicrobes.org)

I’ve suggested FMT to family members who are sicker than I am and their reasoning for not wanting to do it is because they think it doesn’t work despite me giving them a tremendous amount of evidence it does. When I tell them that it helped me, they say it was because of placebo lol.

Thats unfortunate, I had a similar experience with my younger cousin but I wasn’t really getting any results anyway. Never really understood their reasoning.

Andrew Stafford FMT experience for 4 autoimmune diseases, Crohn's, CFS, celiacs, MS. Significant improvements to conditions and personality | Fecal microbiota transplant

I interesting that he experienced such drastic results from using a family members stool. I notice that I get pretty bad anxiety after FMTs. It usually starts after the first one and lasts months after the last. I think it might be due to herx and donor-host interactions. My guess is Andrew...

Hmm thats interesting. Ive heard it helping PSSD but PFS is a first. Speaking of FMT experiences on youtube, here one I came across the other day: My FMT Experience. Super interesting that he had a huge personality change after FMT. FMT from UT-1998 gave me a similar effect on me but it...

Ive had some success taking 20-30 pills per day. I did this for about 30 days with 2 different donors and the bacteria were able to colonize.

Sources Planning on raising donor payouts to 1 million dollars per stool, and a half-a-million-dollar referral reward (HumanMicrobes.org)

Sorry I could’ve worded my post better. I meant if the FDA says the website can’t say “the stool is for FMT”, then it would make it harder to find a recipient willing to pay 1 million dollars per stool. Point 3 is not the best. I meant we could focus more on activating current top applicants...

Sources Planning on raising donor payouts to 1 million dollars per stool, and a half-a-million-dollar referral reward (HumanMicrobes.org)

This would probably be a good last ditch effort before the FDA gets involved. It would be unfortunate for recipients but it would help this project gain publicity and the attention of top tier donors. It would attract many applications before the FDA makes their decision. I don’t think we...

Article The Poop Broker. Michael Harrop started a booming underground market for human feces. But something smells off about his product. (May 2024, Slate)

Yeah definitely possible. Unfortunately, its much more profitable to have patients buy less effective FMT alternatives and less damaging to the economy of our current health system.

Article The Poop Broker. Michael Harrop started a booming underground market for human feces. But something smells off about his product. (May 2024, Slate)

Yeah unfortunately they think mocking a company that sells poop attracts more attention and clicks than them discussing how FMT genuinely benefits people. Again, they mock and unfairly criticize HM then talk about how they think FMT could be promising.

Very interesting, this makes alot of sense. Ive come across some articles that cover other factors in the engraftment. This last time around I tried doing a bowel prep and a 48 hour fast so I’ll see how it goes.

Human Microbes Extreme Success From SD_ES_2015 For Severe Anxiety, Depression, and IBS

Why not just order them split into 10 pieces? In my experience, each piece was enough to make atleast 15 capsules (size 0) or for an enema. This has saved me so much time in the past.

This is so confusing. They unfairly criticize an organization that has the opportunity to help so many desperate people with their chronic illnesses then conclude the article with a positive testimonial lol.

FMT Variability of strain engraftment and predictability of microbiome composition after fecal microbiota transplantation across different diseases (2022)

Interesting, my hypothesis is that total strain engraftment at least somewhat correlates with clinical improvement but its regaining those missing microbes that cause it. Its also possible that engraftment of microbes unrelated to the disease could unrelated beneficial effects. Im extremely...

Sources Is human microbes getting shut down?

Sources Is human microbes getting shut down?

I can absolutely reach out! I think that’s possible. I can see the FDA being influenced by drug companies who might prefer sterile fecal infiltrates geared towards treating specific conditions. It would likely be more profitable but, I agree, not nearly as effective as FMT.
