    I think the olive oil intolerance is due to the acids, because the intolerance gets worse when I'm lacking the microbes needed for bile acid metabolism (BAM), and the symptoms are very similar to eating fat without Cholestyramine when my BAM is poor.

    For that kind of thing, you can search pubmed or google scholar for "[drug name] microbiome". Valtrex is an antiviral, so not something I'd be especially concerned about when it comes to the microbiome.
