Hi, 6 days ago I did FMT through colonoscopy due to my refractory IBS-D. Unfortunately, my poop is worse after FMT. Is microbiome after FMT stable or temporary?

I feel like I gained diarrhea from someone else. I need much more effort to feel relief than before. I prefer my previous D state than post-FMT D state

In general, it seems like the only way to recover from a bad FMT is to do FMT from a better donor.

Where did you get the FMT? From a hospital, using their donor? They did it for IBS? Was it part of a clinical trial?

Hospital, their screened donor. It was a medical experiment. Anyway, I don't want to repeat it. Will I return to my baseline?

I had IBS previous to a severe case of C-diff. But since recovering from the C-diff with the help of taking VOWST (after 3 relapses) I learned about making my own milk kefir. It has helped me tremendously with my IBS. I really don't have the symptoms of IBS since drinking a glass of homemade kefir daily. Check it out on You Tube - short videos and it's practically effortless to make.
